Description
MGF is a splice variant of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1Ec), expressed in response to mechanical overload and cellular stress. This research peptide acts via the IGF-1 receptor and PI3K/Akt pathways to regulate myogenic differentiation, proliferation, and repair signaling. It serves as a model compound in studies of mechano-sensitive peptide signaling, muscle regeneration, and anabolic gene expression.
For research use only. Not for human consumption.
