Description
GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide composed of glycyl-histidyl-lysine complexed with copper (Cu2+) and is studied in laboratory settings for its role in cellular signaling and extracellular matrix regulation. GHK-Cu peptide research focuses on how this small peptide–metal complex influences gene-expression pathways associated with tissue remodeling, oxidative-stress balance, and inflammatory mediator activity under controlled experimental conditions.
