Description

AHK-Cu is a copper-complexed tripeptide composed of alanine, histidine, and lysine coordinated with a copper ion. AHK-Cu peptide research investigates how this copper-binding peptide influences cellular signaling pathways associated with extracellular matrix regulation and angiogenesis-related processes. The presence of copper allows the peptide to participate in redox-sensitive and growth factor–related signaling pathways under controlled laboratory conditions.

In vitro and animal studies commonly examine AHK-Cu in dermal fibroblast, endothelial cell, and hair follicle–associated models.
